Week 79 3-27-17 Esquel

This week...

So it was a good week but I didn't have a lot of time in my area! We worked Tuesday and then Wednesday.  Elder Riches had to go to Neuquen. I was with Elder Perez and Elder Reynoso. They are both from Argentina so it was super fun to be with them. I was with them for 3 days. We then had a training on Sunday which was all of the day but it was really good. The mission is trying to do a lot more role plays which is actually really good.

The area is okay. We are pretty much starting from 0 but we are going to work a ton. The area is super pretty and its great to see mountains again. We have one investigator named Gustavo that has been to church a ton and wants to get baptized but he has to get married! He is super funny so we are going to work with him!!

Week 78 3-21-17 Esquel

So I couldn't write yesterday because I got transferred to pretty much the southest place in the mission. I'm in Esquel. It was a 12 hour bus ride but the view on the way down was super awesome!!! We passed by Bariloche and El Bolson which are super awesome places. My new comp is Elder Riches from Utah. Another one, haha He has 3 months so he is new. I'm super happy to be here.

But my last week in Centenario was the crazyest, stressed, angryest, and happiest week of my mission. I also learned a ton!! So you guys remember Elias and Susana the couple that had to get married to be baptized. We ended up building him a house in the old bus and they got married!!! It was super crazy and we had a lot of up and downs. The Bishop ended up making a lot of problems but we worked it all out. It was a MIRACLE!! It was super awesome to see them get baptized and I got to baptize Susana and confirm Elias!!! I felt super good after that and ready to leave Centenario. I learned so much in this last transfer and I'm going to miss Elder Shumway.

Week 77 3-13-17 Centenario

Well this week after my birthday we ate a ton of carne and cake hahaha It was awesome!!! We had like 3 asados!! I was in love!!

The work is going awesome here. We are finding a ton of great people and in the mission we have a goal to have a Mega Baptism. We have Elias and Franklin that can be baptised this day because they have gone to church. We had a really awesome lesson with Elias and the spirit was soo strong. We ended up talking boldly with him about taking the step of faith. The spirit was able to guide us and we couldnt put a fecha but we are praying that he can be baptised. This is the problem. He has to get divorced and then married again or he can move out of the house with his girlfriend.....Ya its a hard thing!! 

The Hermanas had a baptism this week. I got to do her interview. Elder Shumway then baptized her too!! It was a super awesome baptism. We did a special music number and i played the piano ( Thats for my Mom). I was soooo nervous hahaha 

Well this week we have transfer and i think i going to be leaving. I love this area and the people but i think its been too long when a member from a different city knows you and calls you Hermano Nielson! hahaha

Week 76 3-06-17 Centenario

Birthday week!

So to start off with my birthday.. Saturday night I bought Asado with a big Coke!! Sunday we went to Fabian's house and we had tea and cake for breakfast hahah The cake was super sick!! In the night we had an ice cake that Elder Shumway bought me and the Hermanas( Simkins, Cardenas, and Littieri) So it was a pretty great birthday!!

The week was good too. We had a cool experience were we contacted a dude(Eduado) in the street and he was like how did you guys know i needed help. We ended up going to a bench and talking a little and helped him. He said we can go by his house so it should be awesome! 

We have had a hard time finding some of our investigators but we did teach Elias and he is going to start working on the papers to get divorced and married again....he is awesome. 

We also got to teach Carmen's son David. He is evangelico but we were able to help him a ton with everything. We taught him like 3 times this week and the spirit was super strong. He has a problem believing that our church is the same church that Jesus had because he doesnt see a big importants in the churchs.
