Week 62 11-28-16 Centenario

Hey guys this week was really good!!

Our investigators are progressing and we are finding a ton of new people. We had a lesson with Irma. We went with Hno. Veles and we read the first chapter of the BOM. She then said that she was going to read until chapter 5!! We asked her how she felt about the BOM and she said that she had peace for the first time in months!! It was super awesome. The BOM really is the keystone to our church. I know that it is true and that it can help us with any problem that we have!!
A funny story..so Friday we had Elder Hoffman with us because the ZL had to go to Neuquen for training. First thing that happened was after lunch we leave the pension and a huge storm hits us. It was super windy and raining a ton. It lasted about 30 minutes and it stop haha we then went to the bus stop to wait for the ZL. We were waiting and we see the bus come. when it was about 100 feet away there was a cloud of dust like a popped tire..as it got closer there was fire coming out of the bottom...the people on the bus were super calm and then everyone started yelling GET OFF GET OFF! hahah It was crazy!
Well I love you all!!

Week 61 11-22-16 Centenario

Man this week was great!

We worked a ton and found a ton of new people! In the mission we have a new goal to talk with everyone. I made the goal to work harder at this and I really saw the blessings this week! We also had some really good lessons. We got to teach Diego who has 17 years and we put a fecha for the 17th of December. We are working really hard with him so he can arrive this day.

My comp is also teaching me how to talk Guarani which is the native language of Paraguay. Ha upei. which is "whats up" haha

It's starting to warm up but its still really nice. We are working hard and I'm loving it here!

Here is a photo of the baptismo of Jazmin in Spain.
"Yeah when she got to Spain she went to the church and she had the missionaries come to her house.  Jose her boyfriend was super happy. Yeah its still awesome to hear about her baptism. I got to teach her and see her change which is the coolest thing!
Dan taught her while she was in Argentina. She wanted to get baptized, but the mission president felt it would better if she were to be baptized at her home.

A member gave us cherries!! There is a ton of cherry trees here

Week 60 11-14-16 Centenario

So to start off this week! I found out that Jazmin that lives in Spain got baptized this week!
Jose showed us photos and its was super awesome.

We had a really good week. We started off a little slow and then on Wednesday we had to go to Cinco Saltos for interviews with Presdient and we also had a training. It was really good. After this we had a really good weekend. We found a lot of new people and had a lot of really good lessons.

Sunday we had a lesson with the Flia. Tapia and their friend Erma. It was a super good lesson and she has been looking for answers so we told her to read and pray about the BOM. We will see how everything works out!

We also had transfers, and I'm staying but Elder Garcia is going to Roca. My new comp is Elder Britiz from Paraguay. He has 6 months so he is still pretty new. I'm excited to be with him and we will see how he is.

Fabian to say goodbye to Elder Garcia threw water at him. I ended up throwing a bucket and him and Fabian and then Fabian threw a bucket of water on me. We ended up all being soaking wet hahah.

Well i love you all!!

Week 59 11-7-16 Centenario

This week we got wind and heat!!

Its cooking up here now. It was about 30 degrees C so its about 90 F but we had a good week. We found more new investigators that are super awesome. We got to talk with Jorge a little. We didn't have a cita but we passed by and he said that he was reading and wants us to pass by to help him understand better!! We had other lessons that were good and our investigators just need to go to church now....

So Sunday i had been praying that we could have investigators in the church. We had been working hard and Saturday we went to Gabriel and put a fecha for the 20th but he then told us that he was going to go fishing....but he is still doing good.

Sunday we went and the first 30 minutes...no one came...I was bummed because the hermanas had an investigator(which was awesome) but I was a little bummed. Then a less active that we have been trying to talk with, showed up and had his 2 kids that want to get baptized!!! It was awesome!! I was super happy and know that the Lord blesses us when we are faithful.

Today for Pday we did an asado. I cooked it and it turned out super good. Im going to cook you guys a super good asado when i get back!!!:)

Well i love you all and miss you tons!!!

Week 58 10-31-16 Centenario

Well this week we got to feel a little bit of summer!!

On Monday it rained all day and we had to go to Cinco Saltos. The streets there were rivers. It was crazy flooded. We then had the heat hit us. I got burnt one day bad so i started putting sunscreen.

In Cinco Saltos, We had a training with the zone. I got to see Elder Martinez for the last time. He goes home after this transfer. He is doing good. I also saw Elder Feulin. We were in Plaza Huincul the same time!

The work is going really good. We are starting to see the blessings from all of our works. We found a couple of new investigators that are super ready. We had a super awesome experience with a member and an  investigator. We went to Jorge with Benjamin Tapia(Capo), we knocked his door (clapped I don't know if you guys know but here everyone claps haha) he came out and told us that his wife didn't want anything because they already went to a different church. I had this feeling that we just had to keep talking to him so we started talking about the BOM. He then invited us in. Hermano Tapia asked him what was a question he had in his life? He then used the BOM to answer it. We taught him L1 and committed him to read and pray about the BOM. He said he would do it!! It was super awesome.

Well i love you all!!

Week 57 10-24-16 Centenario

This week was rain, sun, hail, and more rain!!

Pretty crazy week with the weather. We have been doing good with the work. We are looking for a lot of new investigators and we have been finding them. The lord is really helping us. We just need to pass this test of faith.

We had a lesson with Juan who had a fecha but didn't go to church...we taught about the BOM and he was like, this sounds really interesting. I'm going to have to read it haha and we were like ya do it!! We also found a couple with 4 kids. We taught them the plan of salvation because we don't have pamphlets of The restoration! They liked it and after asked how do they know what church is true and we were like next lesson we are going to talk about that  haha It was perfect!!

I have been thinking a lot about how i can be a better missionary because the work has been slower. I was reading a lot about faith. Faith is the power for everything. I was reading in Alma, when it talks about Ammon and his brothers being missionaries and how God kept all of his promises that he gave them. I know that is true! Not  only for missionary work but with everything. If we believe in the promises of god and act in our faith. He is going to bless us! It helped me a lot!!

Well i love you all!!!

Week 56 10-17-16 Centenario

This week the  weather was a little crazy. We had sun, wind, rain and hail haha A little bit of everything.
This week we had to drop a couple of our investigators because they  weren't progressing. Its a hard thing to do but we felt like it was the right thing to do. We ended up finding more new people too. We have one family that is super good. We taught them the BOM and they  had a lot of questions. It was a super awesome. We also found a man named Juan. We put a fecha with him too.

In church we had Gabriel. He is a kid from Costa Reyes. Super cool kid and he said that church was really good. He has a fecha for this week but i think we are going to have to move it up. We will see!

Today for Pday we went to the Dique and did a little asado. We made choripan and then walked around a little bit. Super chill day!

Its great to see that when we do the lords work. He is always going to help us. We are really exicted for this week!!

Well i love you all!!
