Week 92 6-26-17 San Martin de los Andes

This week we had a lot of work! We were able to put 2 new fechas and they are both part member families. We have a lot of investigators here that are part member family which is great. It makes the work so much easier sometimes. The 2 new fechas are Kiara who has 9 and Melani who has 11. They are super awesome. We have been contacting a ton and we have found a good amount of new investigators. We also found a black dude that is from Haiti but lived in US and Brasil and now Argentina. It was great to be able to talk with him and we have a cita to visit him again.

I had to go to Neuquen to renew my ID because I'm here illegally right now hahah We traveled 6 hours and 6 hours to return and we were there for 4 hours hahaha.

We have been teaching a kid called Enzo who is also progressing a lot. He is 20 and believes in God but he doesn't haha He has been reading and praying so he should be baptized soon. Well that was my week!! We also had a lot of rain......it sucks haha

Love you all!

Week 91 6-19-17 San Martin de los Andes

I'm really good. Enjoying beautiful San Martin. We had snow this week but it melted the same day. The mountains do have a ton of snow and its pretty awesome. The area is good. We have some good investigators and we should have a good amount of baptism this transfer. We are working with a couple of less active families that have people that can be baptized. One family has the wife called Valeria. They came to church this week but we are waiting for her husband to get divorced and then they have to get married......Welcome to Argentina hahah

They have Fathers day here too. Yesterday we ate with a father and we had a feast hahah We had Locro, Empanadas, and chichen and chorizo!!! Locro is a stew that they make here. Its super traditional and has a little bit of everything haha a ton of different meats, beans, and a lot of squaw.

The ward is really big and a lot of people to help us which is going to be great!! The conference with Elder Maynes in Bariloche was awesome. We took a private bus with all of the missionaries in the south at 3 in the morning. I have slept a ton on buses this week haha Elder Maynes talked a ton about Opening Our Mouth. The way he teaches is super great. He talked about doctrine and then how to apply it and then doctrine again! I love it!!

Well Love you all!!!

Week 89 6-05-17 Esquel

So this week i had some spiritual experiences that I haven’t had in a while so I’m going to tell you about them. The first was that we had 3 baptisms in the District so I had to do the interviews. I was interviewing a kid that has 20 years. The spirit was super strong and I gave my testimony at the end and I realized the importance of the gospel in my life. As a teenager growing up I never paid a lot of attention to the church things but in this moment I realized that the gospel is the only way to find happiness in this world. The spirit testified to me super strong!

The next was a lesson that we had with Aldo who has been to church now twice. We were able to teach him yesterday and the spirit was really guiding the lesson and he opened up a ton. He felt the spirit and believes in the BOM. We invited him to be baptized and he said that he would if he got an answer from God. It was super great.

The baptisms were also really great. We have transfers this week so we will see what happens. Love you guys!!
